Written by Miguel

Barcelona is full of young people, and where’s there’s youth, there are hipsters. That means vintage barbershops, gourmet libraries, post-modern coffee shops, any kind of establishment that you can prefix with “boutique” and, of course, hipster restaurants.

Say what you want about hipsters, but who doesn’t like to eat in a place with nice, minimal decoration and, perhaps most importantly, very instagrammable dishes? Hipster restaurants are modern, with attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. Plus, due to this subculture’s obsession with healthy, fresh and local ingredients, the food is great too. One bite and you’ll be wondering if society hasn’t been unfair to these guys this whole time. Maybe hipsters were the best thing to ever happen to us. Why don’t we celebrate it with a meal at one of these Barcelona restaurants?
