While there are several pharmacies in every neighborhood of Barcelona, some of the older and more historic ones are truly beautiful and worth seeing. Get to know some of these places, which are an important part of the history of Barcelona and be prepared to be transported back in time.

Antiga Farmàcia Padrell has been a part of Barcelona since 1562, being reformed over the years until its current state. The last update was in 1903, being redone in the iconic Modernist style that has become known in Barcelona. Today, you can visit this pharmacy for all sorts of products, from medicine to everyday items.

Farmàcia Sanchís-Tanganelli

Farmàcia Sanchís-Tanganelli is a Modernist marvel from the beginning of the 20th century. Its interior retains the original style and architecture that makes this pharmacy so fascinating. Farmàcia Ferrer Argelaguet

Farmàcia Flores was designed by famed Catalan architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner and completed in 1896. Farmàcia Bolós

Farmàcia Bolós was completed in 1902 by Catalan architect Antoni Falguera i Sivilla. Farmácia Guinart was founded in 1896 and since then has been passed down throughout the years to generations of the Guinart family. Farmàcia Nordbeck

Farmàcia Nordbeck was founded in 1905 and continues to serve the neighborhood where it was originally founded.
