I am interested in an apartment; what should I do to visit it?You have consulted our website and found an apartment you wish to visit. In order to do so you can send an email with your phone number and email address and we will contact you to arrange an appointment. Can all the apartments be visited, even those that are currently occupied?

The label "Apartment verified by ShBarcelona" guarantees you that:
- Our teams visited the apartment and carefully inspected it.
- We meet the owner personally and hold all the official and legal documentation.
On every flat profile it is shown, colored in green, if the apartments are currently available. If it is not we indicate, colored in orange, the date from which the floor will be available. All apartments in green can be visited. The occupied apartments appear on the website two months before the release date. A visit to one of these flats does not depend on our own will and we must ask, case by case, permission to current tenants.
How does a visit take place?Monthly and yearly rentals
We meet directly with our customers in the apartment address (provided before the visit). We will require strict punctuality as for certain periods (high season), the agendas of our sales representatives are highly charged. In case of delay, we cannot guarantee a complete tour of the apartment. You will have contact details for your ShBarcelona advisor; please contact him in case of unforeseen delay or hindrance.
A visit lasts an average of 15 minutes. Your ShBarcelona advisor can answer all the questions related with the rental. If you are interested in renting an apartment you just visited, we encourage you to come as soon as possible to one of our agencies (to Casanova 99 for holiday rentals, to Casanova 100 for tourist rental and purchase service / Bailen sale and 200 for long stay rentals - see "Useful information about ShBarcelona" for our contact details) in order to proceed to book the apartment. You must take into consideration that in the event that more than one person is interested in the same flat, we will ensure (in the event that the documents provided match our conditions) to have the apartment booked by depositing the amount equivalent to one month.
Can you make a verbal reservation for an apartment that you are interested in to have a period of reflection?
In low season, we accept a period of reflection for 24h/ 48h and the priority in case the customer was the first one visiting the flat.
In high season period, the demand is so high that the notion of the reflection period is absolutely unfeasible. If after a visit you are interested in renting an apartment we invite you to inform your ShBarcelona advisor quickly and come to one of our agencies (to Sepulveda 154 for monthly rentals, to Casanova 95 for touristic rentals and buy / sell service and Bailen 200 for long stay rentals - see item "Useful information about ShBarcelona" for our contact details) to proceed to the reserve the flat.
Please consider that there are many people who book an apartment online without not even wanting / being able to visit.
How can you be sure that the apartment has been booked for you?
You can book an apartment by paying a deposit of an amount equivalent to one month. This amount will then be deducted from the total reservation amount to be paid for the apartment keys.
You should know that by following this procedure, you will commit to rent the apartment since the time when the deposit is made we reject other offers that we have on the same flat. In fact, if you decide to change your mind whatever the reason is, you will lose the integrity of the deposited amount.
Can you book an apartment before visiting?
You can book an apartment by paying a deposit of an amount equivalent to one month's rent. This amount will then be deducted from the total to be paid for the apartment keys.
You should know that from the moment that the first payment is made, you are committing to rent the apartment because from that moment we reject any offer for the flat as the apartment is already booked. In fact if you change your mind whatever the reason is, you would lose the deposited amount.
Can you enter the apartment before the availability date shown on the website?Not normally. The availability date corresponds to the expected departure of the tenant that still occupies the apartment. However, in some isolated situations, tenants decide to advance their departure a few days. In these cases it may be possible to enter before the date of availability displayed on our website (you should pay the extra days). Talk it over with your ShBarcelona counselor.
