All utilities (water, gas and electricity) and agency fees are included in the price. The deposit you will pay is €250 (with some exceptions). Although there are different categories of apartments, we guarantee to all our guests a flat for themselves (never share the apartment with other clients). It is an excellent alternative to the hotel for those who prefer to live the real local life. Also, is the best solution for newcomers before they find a permanent accommodation. An integrated tourist accommodation guarantees your comfort during your stay.
The price of a tourist apartment includes the total number of nights that you spend in the flat and it changes according to the number of people staying. Also, the utilities like water, gas, electricity sheets, towels and Wi-Fi are included (the Wifi is indicated by the icon in the flat description if it is available). The extras that can be requested are the late check-in or early check-out, outside the normal working hours. If the arrival is between 10am and 7pm on weekdays (not holidays) the service is free.
You can check the available apartments in our website using the search engine. You must enter the day of arrival, the day of departure, as well as the number of guests that will be staying in the apartment. Optionally, you can enter the number of rooms that you want. On our website, you can also select many variables. It has an advanced search engine with several filters, located at the top of your screen. Enter your arrival and departure date, the number of people in the spaces provided and press the "Search" button. Then, you will have a list with all the apartments available for your stay. Once you have chosen your apartment, you can book it online in a fast and secure way, pressing "Book now". Finally, you will be asked for your personal information and then to pay a deposit to hold your booking. For this, you will be redirected to the bank site where you can enter your credit card details, you will be able to pay with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
Once the transaction with the bank has been successfully, you will have booked your flat. Please check your email, you will receive an automatic email from ShBarcelona with the booking confirmation. This document will have all the contact details and information for your check-in.
The official time for check-in is from 3pm to 7pm. If you arrive before 3pm, you must confirm with the contact person if you will be able to access to your apartment earlier, if it is available. Please note that check-in is not possible before 12 noon. During office hours, from Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, we will be happy to keep your luggage, so you can start to enjoy the city. If you arrive after 7pm on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, you will need to pay an amount of 30€ to the agent in charge of the keys' delivery.
In most cases, we welcome you directly at the flat, we deliver you the keys when the balance has been paid and the floor inspected. In the booking contract you can view the agent contact details who will be checking in. Please communicate with him, once you have collected your bags at the airport, you are close to the train station or bus, or you are 20 minutes distance from Barcelona in the GPS of your car. In case the contact person does not respond you always have the emergency number. It is very important that we know about your arrival time approximate and you keep us informed in case of delay in the expected time of your arrival, to avoid unnecessary waiting.
You can find the equipment of the flat In the apartment description at the web. You should note that the agency is not responsible in case the lift is out of service or any unforeseen event, but we will always do our best to find a quick and pleasant solution and guarantee your comfort.
The amount of the security deposit that you will be asked for is 250€. You have two options to pay: 1. With your credit card: make an imprint and a pre-authorization, therefore, the amount will not be charged and this pre-authorization is valid for 7 days. 2. Cash: with this option you will be charged of an extra amount of 20€ to organize the deposit back upon departure. Please note that if you pay cash, the amount will be returned once it has handed over the keys and if the apartment conditions are satisfactory.
Please observe that ShBarcelona Terms and Conditions with regard to disturbances, excessively loud music and parties are very clear: all are strictly forbidden. Guests staying in a ShBarcelona apartment should know that if parties are held or havoc is caused or if the neighbours complain they may call the police and this can result in immediate eviction regardless of the time of day or night and it could represent having to pay a fine. The client signing the check-in form will be responsible for the correct behaviour of all the persons accompanying him or her. Failing to comply will result in loss of the prepaid rent and refundable damage deposit and we will not give any type of compensation. Quiet time is every day from 22.00 PM to 8.00 AM.
You only have to pay for the check-in service, if you make it out of office hours, the rest is included. If you arrive after 7pm on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, you will need to pay an amount of 30€ to the agent in charge of keys' delivery.
Cleaning fees are mandatory because it guarantees a standardized cleaning level for the apartments, respecting the environment and a certain comfort level. We do not doubt about your cleaning standards, but we consider a specific list to satisfy the expectations of all our guests and tenants. Also, if there is any inconvenience and you are not satisfied, we will contact the cleaning staff again to assist you. The cleaning service includes the complete preparation of the apartment: cleaning of bathroom, living room, kitchen, bedroom and other rooms, bedding (clean and made beds) and towels (one kit per person, per stay).
The booking is made for a specific number of people, which can vary according to the capacity indicated on the apartment description. All those who are not declared in the reservation cannot stay in the apartment.
If you need an extension and the apartment is available, we can extend your stay. If you want to reduce your stay, this is interpreted as a cancellation and the amount that has been paid cannot be refunded.
If you cancel with thirty days or more in advance of your arrival, we will refund you 50% of the deposit paid on your booking. If the cancellation occurs later, within 30 days prior to your arrival, the amount paid on the reservation will not be refunded.
Kids are always welcome at ShBarcelona. We have a cradle service according to availability. Please refer to information to book a cot. In addition, the stay is free for children up to 3 years old, with own cots.
We provide our guests all the necessary information of the apartments that we rent. Also, we are at your disposal to guide our guests in their choice. Being thus, the client, the person in charge of his decision choosing an apartment. The change will be interpreted as a cancellation and you should make a new booking.
You can contact us for any question or problem during office hours, from Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm. Also, we provided a number in case of emergency. Please take note that out of office hours calls are exclusively for emergencies such as fire, flood, lost of keys. etc. We appreciate your understanding.
