Written by Michael

Luckily, in this article by ShBarcelona shows you many places throughout Barcelona where you can practice your asanas without making an assana of yourself, where all of the yoga instructions are in English.

There are a number of English yoga classes and groups available on Meetup with single sessions starting at as little as five euros.

One of the most interesting ones is called YO/MU, which offers affordable Vinyasa Yoga together with a live music session, which makes the experience completely different from that of a regular yoga class.

The classes are taught by Lucy, while the music is performed by Pepe Arias, who also composes it. All classes are taught in English and they happen every day of the week.

Location: Carrer dels Còdols, 23 in the neighborhood of El Born  (Carpinteria Studio)

As you can see, there are plenty of options for those who want to take up or keep practicing yoga or pilates in Barcelona in English but have been shy about it because they do not speak the local languages.
