FuckUp Nights Barcelona

Written by Miguel

Are you tired of inspirational tales about overcoming insurmountable odds? Well, you can rip those motivational posters off your walls. Barcelona is about to be home to an event where pink sunglasses are to be left at the door. A global movement that started in Mexico City, FuckUp Nights is a gathering of entrepreneurs that focuses on failure rather than success stories.

Whafuckupnightsbarcelona3t can be more motivating than knowing you’re not alone in burning your toast? This open-minded attitude about failure opens the door to honesty and empathy, creating a fun and informal space where you can discuss business endeavors freely or just learn from those who have started the path to following their dreams – only to fall flat on their behinds after tripping on a banana peel.

This May 26 will mark the sixth time FUN has happened in Barcelona and it will take place at Kubic Co-Working Space.

What can you expect?

Four different entrepreneurs will share their stories of failure and how that connected with what followed in their personal and professional lives. You’ll be able to connect and empathize with genuine human stories of drive and determination. Now, these particularly determined humans might not have succeeded (at least at first) but that doesn’t mean they stopped trying – and they are open and willing to share all of their failures with you! How could you say no?

So you can expect to laugh, you expect to learn and hey, why not share your own misfortunes with others as well?

How much does it cost?

entrepreneurIf you wish to attend or simply fail to come up with an excuse not to go, you’ll be charged €5 and get complimentary cold drinks for your troubles.

I like it! Where do I buy tickets?

You can buy your tickets at EventBrite’s official website.

Enjoy yourself and be sure to tell us how it was!
