    Isla Fantasía (Fantasy Island): This is a water park located in the town of Vilassar de Dalt in the Maresme region. It first opened in 1981, and it has since become one of the most popular water parks in Catalonia. It is a family leisure venue, that has 22 different water attractions, spread out over more than 80,000m2.

One of the characteristics of the park, is that it has more than 10.000m2 of green leisure zones. It has several aquatic attractions, three large pools, a playground for children, a minigolf area and a recreation area. Besides this, it has more than 900 picnic tables in a large pine forest.

There are many facilities for you to use, such as cafeterias and restaurants, a self-service restaurant, a shop, an ATM and several information desks.

  • Aquarium Barcelona: The Barcelona Aquarium has a spectacular Oceanarium, considered to be the largest aquarium. It is unique in Europe, and you can observe a great number of underwater species. With a diameter of 36 metres and a depth of 5 metres, it contains nearly 4 million litres of water.

Visit the aquarium if you want to see different species, such as bream, moray eels, moonfish, rays and two types of sharks: the bull shark (Carcharias taurus) and the sandbar shark (Carcharhinus plumbeus), which are among the most admired in the enclosure.

    Teleférico Montjuïc (Montjuïc Cable Car): This is the best place to enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona on clear blue summer days.
