If you love world cuisine and trying new things, then Petra is the restaurant for you. A Lebanese restaurant that opened in 2010, Petra attracts a hip young crowd with some fantastic Lebanese food, including traditional dishes like Warak Inab, Kebe and Xix Tawuc. You can just order options from the menu, or you can order a set menu which will cost you 15 euros. And if you are looking for a cheap midday meal, look no further: the lunch menu costs only 9 euros! Pretty cheap for some delicious Lebanese cuisine.

A bar on Carrer d’Asturias that offers a wide range of international cuisine, SMS is fast gaining a reputation as a great restaurant for a large menu and generous portions. SMS is also a great place to go for coffee. Order a frappuccino in Barcelona and you usually get a glass of ice with a bit of milk and coffee. Here you get all the basic ingredients but served in a huge glass shaped like a cornucopia and slathered with cream and chocolate sauce. And all for under 3 euros!

They also offer a wide range of options from their breakfast menufrom hearty British breakfasts to great deals on more continental foods like coffee and croissants. Sitting to eat in here is great: the staff is very friendly, the food is always fantastic, and there is an exciting buzz in the air. But be warned: the small restaurant tends to get full quickly at peak hours. To make sure you get a table in this cozy spot, we’d advise you phone to reserve a table first.
