Quimet i Quimet is one of the most popular tapas bars in Barcelona. Located in Raval, this restaurant serves Mediterranean and tapas food like pinchos, small sandwiches and charcuterie. It is also a wine bar where you can choose your red wine from a wide range of Spanish and Catalan wines. It is quite a small place which does not accept reservations so be there early! Also, the restaurant is closed on Saturday nights.

Cervezeria Jazz

Cervezeria Jazz is located right up Calle Margarit. This Jazz brewery has been a popular rendezvous for locals, long before Poble Sec became a hipster area. Cervezeria Jazz serves hamburgers and sandwiches only. The important thing here is not the food, though, but the music and the beers. They offer a variety of beers from all over the place, like German, Belgian and English beers. You will find the classic references but also the latest brews on the market for you to taste before everyone!

El Nus

As you may have already noticed, there are a number of hipster and fancy bars in El Born. Most of them are expensive and most of the time they are filled with tourists. El Nus, on the other hand, is one of those local bars that keeps the old spirit of the neighborhood alive. Its walls are filled with an old radio, some Laurel and Hardy figures and a vintage telephone. A string full of knots – in honor of the name of the bar, hangs from the railing on the top floor.

Torre Rosa

Torre Rosa is a cocktail bar in La Sagrera. They serve amazing cocktails, the classics, gin tonics, whiskeys, vermouths and more. Prices are expensive, from 8.50 to 15 euros, but you will enjoy your cocktails in a fancy property, either on the terrace or in the garden, under the palm trees. This place is ideal for special events because it can afford large groups of people.

Solange Cocktails & Luxury Spirits is definitely one of our favorite cocktail bar in Barcelona. It serves premium and original cocktails only. The place itself is fancy as hell: you feel like James Bond stepping into a sumptuous bar to order a vodka martini… The counter and the lounge are high-class: yellow lights, velvet golden couches, and gorgeous cocktails served in luxurious glasses. You can choose your beverage from the menu or ask the bartender to create one for you!

Boca Grande

Boca Grande restaurant is one of those sophisticated places that we go to from time to time, when we want to celebrate a special occasion. The cooking is amazing: they not only serve fresh seafood, ceviche and oysters but also classic tapas like jamón serrano and, pan con tomate. The service is perfect. You will appreciate the high-quality wine and the fancy cocktails served at Boca Chica, their cocktail bar. Go to Boca Grande to enjoy one of the most orginal cocktail in the city, taste the freshest oysters at the restaurant and finish the night chilling on their private terrace. Its unique atmosphere makes it very popular among celebrities. You might even end up sitting next to a VIP or public figure.
