If you are into healthy green juices, you absolutely have to pay Juicy Jones a visit, as this kind of stuff is pretty hard to come by in Barcelona! It’s a raw foodist’s and healthy vegan’s jackpot.

Coming in either 33cl or 50cl and costing from €3.50 you can choose from fantastic green mixes – you would be hard-pressed to come up with a fruit or veg that’s not available at Juicy Jones.

Luckily, the drinks menu is completely foreigner-friendly as it features easy to use pictures of the ingredients for those who don’t speak Castellano.

Juices aren’t the only thing on offer – you can also choose from a massive range of smoothies such as coconut, cacao, banana and soy milk. If you are feeling a little peckish, you can always opt for some snacks such as hummus, or even the three-course menu of the day.

Vegan Menu del Dia

The ‘menu del dia’ at Juicy Jones is truly amazing – we can’t recommend it enough! You can choose from a number of starters – such as hummus, mixed salad or gazpacho – and main courses like Indian thali, vegan cheese, and vegetable pie. For dessert, you can pick from Indian kulfi ice cream, cake of the day or chocolate pudding. A glass of wine or water is included in the price.

In addition to all this, there is a range of sandwiches that are made from healthy home-made breads and filled with the likes of avocado, hummus, and sun-dried tomatoes. Our favourite is the one with tofu, ginger satay and avocado with grated salad. It tastes utterly sublime!

Juicy Jones is perfect (and dog-friendly) for all vegans in town. The food is absolutely delicious, the juices are divine and the portions are massive for their reasonable prices.

It’s certainly not the best or most creative vegan food you’ll find on the planet, but there is so much choice, you are bound to find something you like. If you like Indian-style spicy food, and you have a giant appetite or a small budget, go for the vegan thali and you will be provided with enough food to get you going for the rest of the day. You will not leave hungry, that’s a promise!
