Where to have the best juices in Barcelona

Barcelona is a city with a lot to offer its inhabitants and visitors and one of the best and sweetest things it can offer is a good, tasty juice! Either as a refreshment to be had during the summer, a healthy afternoon liquid snack, or a complement to a nice meal, a juice is always a good option for those who feel like having something to drink.

Are you as big of a fan of juice as we are? Then keep reading to find out where you can have some of the best juices in Barcelona.

Flax & Kale

Flax & Kale is one of the most popular restaurants in the city, a flexitarian establishment located just steps away from the famous vegetarian restaurant, Teresa Carles, which was the first venue established in this chain of healthy businesses created by the chef with the same name. Flax & Kale serves absolutely scrumptious and healthy food, and a fantastic range of juices including green juices and smoothies made from agave syrup, dried fruit milk, and spices. Their juices are available in bottles to take away, perfect for a picnic, a day at the beach or to enjoy while walking around the streets of Barcelona. They are a bit on the pricey side but their taste certainly makes it worth it.

Teresa Carles

This well-known vegetarian restaurant serves a variety of delicious meals, including a vegetarian carbonara made with smoked coconut to die for! They serve great fresh juices in a modern and pleasant setting which keeps making people coming back for more. If you visit Teresa Carles, we guarantee that you will spend a good amount of time reading the juice menu, chuckling at the quirky names you will read, such as “Popeye”, for the juice made of spinach, or the “Vampire Vegan”, for the dark red juice with beets.

Veggie Garden

This is a favorite among vegetarians in Barcelona, renowned by its mouth-watering veggie burgers, served in a bright and colorful venue. Veggie Garden offers an extremely wide range of juices, divided into various sections such as green vegetable juices or the more traditional combinations such as an orange-carrot mixture. There are also smoothies made from almond milk or more exotic blends such as mango, pear and mint, strawberry or papaya.

Address: Carrer dels Angels, 3

La Boqueria

No article about juices would be complete without mentioning the Boqueria Market. This historic and memorable site is a must see for every new visitor to Barcelona, offering a spectacular display of colors, in the shape of fruits, vegetables, candies, meat, fish, and whatever else a human might be able to digest. It’s nearly impossible to miss the juices offered at the market, as there are many stands all around, but they are mostly concentrated by the main entrance. You will be amazed at the variety of juices on offer, from basic strawberry, pineapple, and coconut, to more exotic tastes like that of the dragon fruit. The juices offered at La Boqueria are extremely cheap, especially when compared to those offered by Teresa Carle and Flax & Kale, which are usually around 5€ each. At La Boqueria, you can pay as little as 1,50€ for a juice, if you skip the first few juice stands, which charge only a little bit more: 2€ per cup.

Fruit Express

In Barcelona, the words “Fruit Express” are synonym of “great juices“. Their product is fresh and of the best quality, which is the reason for their success. They have three venues in the city where they serve juices with such delicious combinations as orange and acerola, papaya and avocado, passion fruit and beets, and açaí and wild berries. These are some of their most popular combinations but, of course, you can choose to combine the fruits you like the most to make your own personalized juice. Two of their venues specialize in juices and cocktails, while the third one, 50/50, also offers gourmet burgers.
