But if you or your children are particularly interested in birds, consider paying a visit to Cim d’Àligues. The center is the home of a variety of birds of prey such as Aquila chrysaetos, Necrosyrtes monachus, and Geranoaetus melanoleucus.

Cim d’Àligues aims to educate people about these majestic birds, to instil in each of the visitors a sense of respect and admiration for nature. They achieve that by taking the visitors on guided tours of the center and informing them about the birds’ habits, nutrition, and behavior. This part of the visit usually takes about 30 minutes and it takes place next to the birds’ cages. But the most exciting part for the little ones is usually the flight demonstration session, which lasts a little longer.
