Bodevici organic ice-cream – Barcelona

Bodevici in Barcelona
Written by Michael

Gracia is THE barrio for organic-loving, eco-conscious types and home to Bodevici –a 100% organic ice-cream parlour in Barcelona.

At Bodevici you can buy ice-creams, sorbets, granizados, milk shakes, frozen yogurt, horchata (which is a local drink made with nuts and sugar very popular in these parts) and caprichos – which consist of fruit or nut combinations served with either frozen yogurt or ice cream. All certificed organic of course.

Natural flavours at Bodevici

All the flavours at Bodevici are, naturally, entirely natural, and all their products are prepared entirely without additives, preservatives or any form of artificial colourings. They also offer products that are made without gluten, lactose, sugar, eggs or nuts for those with allergies or who are rightfully a bit on the fussy side. And if you don’t like or tolerate cows’ milk then there is frozen yogurt made with goats’ milk. So whether you are celiac, lactose intolerant or just avoiding sugar because you consider it harmful, then get yourself and your kids (and dogs) along to Bodevici.

The planet-loving concept behind Bodevici is to respect the environment and to respect the animals from which their ingredients come.

Healthy alternatives

At Bodevici all the cones, spoons, tureens and cups are not only biodegradable but organic, showing that their ongoing commitment is not to add to the destruction of the planet by mankind and the emphasis is always on providing healthy alternatives. Even the lighting is energy saving and the wooden furniture comes fom sustainable sources. Everything as far as the eye can see is fair-trade and all their containers are compostable.

In the long hot Barcelona summers, it’s always good to have somewhere you can go that sells something that you can eat that is more healthy than regular ice cream or cold drinks.

Ethically sourced, 100% organic ice-cream made by happy cows– what’s not to love?
