Business Yachtclub in Barcelona

Today, sailing clubs are proliferating in Barcelona’s Mediterranean coast, which is good news for tourists who come there on summer days. Business Yachtclub is the biggest one, and also the first-ever to establish in Barcelona, on Port Olímpic. It was created in 2004 and has been growing up fast since then. Now the club offers more than 100 sailing activities and events every month for travelers, local people and companies. We tell you more about it in this article.

For guests: activities and events

Chill out sailing is the ideal activity for a group of friends who are spending few days together in Barcelona. This is an unforgettable experience which allows you to enjoy the sun and the sea for 3 hours, but also to learn a little about sailing, as the skipper will let you participate in all tasks including piloting. You can even bring your own drinks onboard! The price is 340€ for a group of maximum 7 people.

Romantic sailing for two is ideal for couples. This is a romantic tour for two on boat, including a bottle of champagne, glasses and flutes, and even a box of chocolate. The price is 340€ per boat.

But if you are more interested in learning to sail, you can get on board with an expert skipper who will show you the basic concepts of sailing. The price is 65€ per person. This activity is only programmable on Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 2:30 pm, and Saturday at 10:30 am.

For local people: sailing club

If you are a local, you may like to know that you can join the sailing club for minimum one year. You can become either a sailing member or a charter member. If you are a sailing member, you will learn to sail with an expert skipper, or improve your knowledges before you can rent your own boat. If you are a charter member, it will allow you to rent a boat without a skipper and participate to boat races. Be a charter member is a very good option if you want to sail on your own boat without worrying about docking or maintenance and cleaning costs.

For companies: corporate events

Business Yachtclub offers three options to companies. The objective of Teambuilding Regatta is to help business teams to learn such things as teamwork, motivation, decision-making and communication, through a full day of sailing. Find the program of the day here.

Incentive Regatta is a half-day boat race, which leads to the same learning of business competencies.

The third option is a 2.5 hour sailing tour on a private boat with an expert skipper.
