The largest Irish bar in Barcelona, The George Payne is an excellent place to watch live sports. The bar has several large plasma screen TVs all across the bar, where you can watch sports like rugby, American football, and soccer.

The George Payne is located at Plaza d’Urquinaona, 5, in the neighbourhood of La Dreta de l’Eixample. The best way to get there is by taking the red (L1) or yellow (L4) line of the subway, exiting at Urquinaona.

Shenanigans is a good option if you want to watch the Spanish football league matches. The pub has four high definition screens in the bar area, and one isolated room in the back where you can watch the games in a quieter environment.

7 Sins  is a gorgeous international bar where you can watch the main sporting events in style. The bar has a huge projector on the lower floor, and a large collection of sofas to add another layer of comfort to your sports-watching experience.

7 Sins is located at Carrer de Muntaner, 7, in the neighbourhood of Sant Antoni. The best way to get there is by taking the red (L1) or purple (L2) line of the subway, exiting at Universitat.

Flaherty’s Irish Pub

If you are one of those people that can’t get enough of sports, Flaherty’s Irish Pub is the right place for you. Golf, rugby, Formula 1, hockey, soccer are only some of the sports you can watch in the pub’s seven HD televisions and two large projectors.

Flaherty’s Irish Pub is so into sports, they will even show sporting events that are not part of their usual programming, if you call ahead to ask them.
