All about Sidecar Factory Club

Sidecar Factory Club is one of the more hip and happening, popular nightclubs in Barcelona attracting large crowds of young revelrock mucilers both local and tourists. It sits in the heart of Barcelona on Placa Reial which is just a few steps off the busy and ever vibrant Las Ramblas. Sidecar has been rocking Barcelona’s nightlife for over 30 years with an eclectic mix of rock, punk, indie, experimental, alternative music and anything outside the mainstream music.

Live music shows and DJ sessions

Sidecar offers a unique programming of live music concerts and DJ sessions for the better part of the night to keep the fun going. Live shows an DJ sessions are hosted below ground in the red-lit basement of the club which has a long bar, a dance floor and a small stage where the acts perform. The live concerts feature a variety of bands and the music ranges from indie, pop, to rock and whatever else keeps the party rolling. Most live shows start at 9pm until about 11pm when the DJs take over the party scene spinning anything from electric to rock music. The entrance charges are sometime inclusive of consumption and usually cheaper if bought online on the website or with a flyer than paying at the door.

The ground floor features a rather basic space also with a lounge bar, ample sitting space where you could have a few drinks. The bar has a pretty slick red-and-white colour- scheme and a huge projection screen. The ground floor also hosts a restaurant where you could have a meal before it closes at midnight. Sidecar Factory Club also host non-musical events such as art shows, cabaret, and comic book fest Even with a modest sized space, Sidecar Factory Club still offers revellers and music buffs a great venue to experience a raucous night out and dance the night away. Dress code: Keep it casual!

When?

The club opens on every night except Sundays but is busiest on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Hours: 7pm to 6am.
