Located next to the beach, at Barceloneta’s Passeo Maritimo, Shôko is one of the most famous nightclubs in all of Barcelona.
The club is divided into three parts: a restaurant, a dance club with a bar, and an enormous exterior lounge space. Let’s get to know each one of these spaces, shall we?
Shôko’s restaurant offers exquisite dishes of Asian/Mediterranean fusion, like the Tandoori chicken bruschetta with yogurt and mint, vegetable wok with jasmine rice, steak with asparagus, foie gras and amaretto reduction, and a transparent shrimp, papaya and flower salad with peanut sauce.
Shôko’s award-winning restaurant is open from Monday to Sunday from 12 pm to 2:30 am.
Shôko’s dance club focuses mainly on house music, played by resident DJ Tony Storella, DJ Papis and DJ Mully. The club often receives international guests like DJ Noveaubeats, DVBBS, Borgeous and Tom Swoon.
Shôko is famous for its unique theme parties and afterparties which have made the club the top choice among international musical artists like Madonna, Depeche Mode, Elton John and Lady Gaga.
The club also organizes movie nights, having been the first location in the city to show movies like Paranormal Activity and The Hangover.
For those who prefer to enjoy their night out in classier settings, Shôko offers their V.I.P area, which has a beautiful lounge and a terrace that offers a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
How to get there
