Sor Rita Bar

Possibly the tackiest place in Barcelona, Sor Rita Bar proudly exhibits its leopard rugs, Barbie lampshades, and tragic wigs. Not only that, the bar plays exclusively what they refer to as “musica retropetarda”, and organizes events like men and women’s high heel races. The quirkiness extends during the week with tarot nights and “kutreoke”, which translates as something like “lamereoke”, where everyone has their turn performing lame songs.

Sor Rita Bar is located at Carrer de la Mercé, number 27, about 5 minutes away from the Barceloneta (yellow line – L4) metro stop.
