If you’re looking for a way to blow off some steam and at the same time keep your body in shape, but the monstrously popular yoga seems too quiet for you, maybe you should consider enrolling in a martial arts class.
Although each one is distinct in its own way, martial arts have plenty of benefits in common. They improve your concentration and mental discipline and do wonders for the body on various different levels – like strength, stamina and coordination, just to name a few.
Lucky for you, martial arts schools and gyms are all over Barcelona. In the beautiful neighbourhood of Eixample alone, there is a varied offer of lessons. This gives you an option to try different martial arts and find the one that best suits your needs or preferences.

While it does offer a complete workout, if you’re looking to learn more specific sets of techniques and practices or a more traditional discipline, opt for one of the other two.

This school is a bit unusual in that they don’t teach specific martial arts.
