European Creativity Festival
Written by Paula

Barcelona is a city that loves arts, culture and creativity. That is why it is the perfect city to host the European Creativity Festival.

european creativity festivalThis annual event will have its second edition between the 15th and 17th of October at Barcelona’s new design museum, Disseny Hub Barcelona.

The European Creativity Festival’s objective is to celebrate excellence in visual communication, graphic design and new creative solutions.

Art Directors Club of Europe

The event is organized by the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE), offering three days of conferences, talks, exhibitions, awards and networking spaces.

This year the festival is receiving some of the most important names in creativity for Out of the Box Talks, like Amir Kassei, Chief Creative Officer at DDB Austria, who has received over 40 Cannes Lions awards; Pepa Rojo, a Creative Strategist from Spain; Nils Leonard, chairman and CEO of Grey, UK; Sergio Spaccavento, Executive Creative Director from Italy; and Rosie Arnold, Deputy Executive Creative Director at BBH, UK.

I Wish I’d Done That

Visitors will also be able to witness an animated exchange of ideas on I Wish I’d Done That – D&AD, where creative professionals like Craig Oldham, founder and creative director of The Office of Craig Oldham, Uk, and Greg Quinton, Executive Creative Director at The Partners, UK, will talk about an idea from the past year which they wish they had come up with themselves, explaining its brilliance and innovation.

During the festival there will be four exhibits: D&AD Black & Yellow Pencils, in which visitors can discover the creative work that has been awarded with the Black and Yellow Pencil in 2015; Out of Place, works by FAD’S designers artists and architects; The CUP winners 2015; and FAD Awards.
