Les Corts is one of Barcelona’s 10 districts, situated on the west side of the city. It covers both the Les Corts and Pedralbes neighbourhoods, as well as some of Sarria, and includes popular tourist attractions such as the Camp Nou football stadium. Helios Libros SA is located on Carrer de Nicaragua, close to Les Corts metro station. It is a cozy, yet spacious bookstore, which also doubles up as a newsstand and cafe. It’s the perfect place to knuckle down and get some work done. They have free hi-speed wifi on offer, plus some amount of reference books on hand, and with the great coffee they sell, it’s perfect for productivity! The interior is bright and clean, it has a very welcoming feel to the place. The staff is very calm and polite, ready to assist you in any search. They have a variety of books on sale, as well as stationery products. Helio Libros SA is open from 7:30am to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday; and 8:00am to 2:00pm at the weekends.

Abacus

Abacus is located in the L’illa Diagonal shopping centre, on Av. Diagonal. Fnac is also located in L’illa Diagonal shopping centre, on Av. Diagonal. They stock a large amount of books, on a variety of subjects, as well as music, and the latest electronic digital technology products. They have a 14-day returns policy, just in case you are unhappy with your product. Prices are perhaps a little higher than most places, but they have such a good range in stock, it really is a place where you can end up buying lots of stuff. It is open every day, except Sunday, from 10am to 9:30pm.
