Terracear means really taking pleasure in the pure act of relaxing on a terrace, while savouring the wonderful gastronomy of the Catalan capital. Moving from terrace to terrace in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and in a Mediterranean climate, is certainly not an unpleasant way to spend your day or afternoon. The route starts in the centre of the city, more specifically at Hotel Jazz, close to the Ramblas. It is near to the city centre and therefore only a short walk to Barcelona’s Plaza Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia and Las Ramblas. Jazz Bar can be found on the first floor of Hotel Jazz. You can actually also work here comfortably and quietly, as it offers free Wi-Fi and a Business Centre with two computer terminals for personal use. You will also have no problem organising an informal meeting or job interview here, when you are near the centre of the Catalan capital. After work, this is the ideal place to meet friends in a very cosmopolitan and chic atmosphere. You can enjoy delicious tapas and an extensive cocktail menu at Jazz Bar, with, of course, excellent Jazz music in the background. Our second stop along this special route is at The Terrace, located at Hotel Juan Carlos I in Barcelona.

The terrace has a country-chic atmosphere, overlooking the hotel garden and pool. You can try many refreshing drinks, salads and starters, as well as grilled meat and fish. It is the perfect terrace to invite friends for lunch or dinner. It is peaceful, away from the crowds and you will be stress-free immediately. The third and last terrace on our short terrace route is at Barceló Raval. This terrace is, again, located in the centre of Barcelona, more specific in the district of Ciutat Vella. You can have a very special breakfast or brunch here. The new concept is called B-LikEat and it is a buffet breakfast, consisting of organic, seasonal and local products. Any buffet at one of the Barceló chain hotels is worth it, and the Barceló Raval is no exception. Besides this, a passionate foodie that decides to have breakfast or brunch here, will be pleasantly surprised, as the buffet offers organic and sourdough bread, first press oils, fresh and aromatic herbs, dried fruit spreads, all-natural syrups and trendy foods like chia seeds, bee pollen or spirulina, among many other breakfast items. Visiting this terrace will definitely be pure joy and the extraordinary buffet will make this meal the most important part of your day.
