Hotel 1898

Whilst strolling along the famous La Rambla, you’ll find this grand, colonial-style building hiding one of the most romantic hotels in the city, Hotel 1898. Guests can be thoroughly pampered with not one, but two pools, an incredible spa and superb food. The Gran Hotel Torre Catalunya boasts 272 spacious rooms, located next to Sants Train Station. The hotel offers great facilities including a restaurant on the top floor with incredible views of the city, perfect for a romantic evening. It also has a cocktail bar, an indoor pool, fitness centre and spa. The city centre is only 15 minutes away by metro, which means you will both be able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Sants area and also get to the city in a heartbeat.

Hotel Villa Emilia Barcelona

A little away from the city centre but still within great reach of all the main sights is the independent and stylish Hotel Villa Emilia. Hotel W Barcelona

Hotel W is one of the most famous hotels in the whole city. It’s hard to miss with its iconic building located right on the beachfront. With unbeatable views of the city, the hotel has 473 rooms to choose from, two restaurants, several bars as well as a spa and fitness centre. Take a dip in the pool, order a cocktail or two, then treat yourself and your partner to a treatment at the Bliss Spa before finishing the night at Eclipse, on the 26th floor with some creative cocktails.

Hotel Neri Relais et Châteaux

This luxurious and exclusive boutique hotel is well-hidden in the old Jewish quarter, located in a 12th-century medieval palace. Although it isn’t one of the largest hotels in Barcelona, with only 22 rooms and no spa or pool, Hotel Neri oozes style and elegance with a beautiful terrace and romantic rooftop bar complete with hammocks. You’ll find yourself at the heart of the action in the centre of Barcelona within metres of all the main sights including La Rambla, La Boqueria market, and the Picasso museum.
