La Carmanyola – Renowned for its fantastic rice dishes, La Carmanyola offers you the best of Mediterranean cuisine. Its prices are quite high at around 30€ per person, but totally worth it considering the high-quality food, the friendly service and the cozy atmosphere. Plus, it has a nice terrace with a beautiful view – but make sure to book in advance if you’re planning on getting a table there.

Address: Plaça Julio González, 3.

La Mar Bella – If you’re looking for a good paella, La Mar Bella is the place to go. While the paella itself is quite accessible, at 11,50€, this Poblenou restaurant will charge you an average of 16€ per person – which is still pretty good considering its quality. They also offer daily menus, which cost 10.45€ and include a drink – the biggest disadvantage being that your choices become quite limited. Another solid recommendation for a good meal in the neighbourhood of Poblenou.
