This particular school provides guitar classes for students of all levels and ages. As this school understands that each of its students has distinct musical needs so they personalize the lessons for them to ensure that these are being met.
The school is situated in the Gracia district of Barcelona and is easy to reach on foot, by bus or metro. For those who live, work or are studying in the city the school recommends that these people sign up for one their more Extensive Guitar Courses. However, if you can play guitar already but just want to improve your skills then taking one of the schools more Intensive courses should be considered.
2. HRS (Heavy Rock School)
This school has now been established for 5 years and is part of the city’s School of Music (Studies Atlàntida Musicals). Here you have the opportunity to not only learn how to play traditional rock music on the guitar but also heavy and death metal, as well as progressive metal, blues, and funk.
You’ll find that the classes here are taught on a one on one basis, as the teachers want to ensure that all their students are able to achieve their goals. Like the first school discussed this one is also centrally located and can be found in the district of the city known as Sants-Hostafrancs.

3. High School of Music

This well-establishedl school is becoming increasingly popular and is for those who already play the guitar. Every Tuesday and Sunday they hold jam sessions throughout the year. The price to enter is quite reasonable for the session on Tuesday which commences at 7.45pm it is €4 whilst entry for the session on a Sunday which starts at 6.30pm you’ll be charged €6. Included in this price is also your first drink.
You may be a little afraid at first, but once you have seen others getting involved you are likely to as well at what is considered to be the first music school in Barcelona where learning how to play the rock guitar was provided and other schools like those mentioned above have followed suit.
