Cocktails gain ground to the beer and to the typical Spanish “cubata” in all bars in Barcelona. Customers are increasingly demanding when it comes to order one of these delicious multi-flavor drinks, especially enjoyed during hot summer nights. The mojito is emerging as the most popular among those who opt for this type of beverage. To avoid a possible disappointment, we propose a route for several places in which they serve, in our opinion, the best mojitos in Barcelona. Obviously, a lot of places will remain unsaid, so we encourage you to discover them yourselves!

La Rosa del Raval

We begin our tour in the area of Ciutat Vella, with one of the most charming bars very close to MACBA square. This is La Rosa del Raval (C/dels Àngels 6), a Mexican-style place that serves delicious dishes from that country and one of the most well-known and cheap mojitos of Barcelona. Only 3.50 € if you get there in time for the happy hour!

Sor Rita

Still in the area but on the other side of la Rambla to the Gothic district, and after taking a look to the “human statues” that you will find there, we go to the Sor Rita bar (C/Mercè 27). This place’s charm lies in its kitsch decoration that will make you feel like you are in an Almodóvar movie. You will enjoy the hilarious cocktail names as well, including a delicious mojito.

Not too far from the last bar, in the Polaroid Bar (C/Còdols 29) the ever-attentive waiters will prepare you a tasty mojito mixing the ingredients with all their love. To end this mini-route and crossing again a great avenue as Via Laietana heading into the famous Born district of Barcelona, we will find dozens of bars and clubs to have a good time.

Once you’ve tried some of this route’s mojitos you will certainly want to rest in a comfortable accommodation, right? ShBarcelona offers an ample choice of apartments in Barcelona, perfect to spend your holidays in Barcelona.
