Resting above the Hotel Pulitzer in the heart of the city is the Pulitzer Terrace, a rooftop terrace that’s open 7 days a week during the summer until the end of September. You can enjoy a drink or some tasty food starting from 6 PM until midnight. Five nights a week you can listen to some cool tunes, either live or by local DJs that will get you up and dancing. Enjoy a cocktail from the full-service bar and pair it with a tapa like Spanish ham or cheese and be prepared to be amazed by not only the views of the Pulitzer Terrace but also the ambiance and excitement.
Atop the Villa Emilia Hotel, a stone’s throw away from the Metro Line 1 stop Rocafort, is La Terrassa. This beautiful rooftop offers stunning views of the city as well as a varied menu of food and drinks. The advantage of this bar is that it’s open mostly all day, from 11 AM to 1 AM. You can enjoy the city by morning or night, depending on the experience that you want to have. They offer two menus, “vermut” and “barbecue” depending on the time of day. While a snack and a drink at La Terrassa isn’t the cheapest in town, it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion.

The W Hotel is one of the most recognizable in Barcelona, with its distinct shape and location on the beach. 26 floors above the beachfront is Eclipse, an upscale rooftop bar and lounge. For special events or parties, you can reserve a VIP table to make your visit extra special. Grab a cocktail and munch on freshly-made sushi as you dance the night away. Eclipse has music every night of the week by DJs that will keep you up and moving to the beat, as late as 4 AM on the weekends! Elegant attire is required, so plan your outfit ahead of time.

During the summer months, B-Hotel next to Plaça Espanya opens up their rooftop for a great summertime experience. The B-Pool Bar features an infinity pool that will make you feel as if you are swimming through the Barcelona skyline. Drinks and tapas are served so you can snack and sip in a luxurious lounge chair next to the pool. With its fantastic views and amenities, the B-Pool Bar is a great place to host a small party or a gathering of friends for a nice summertime party.
