Embracing a yoga lifestyle means embarking on a fruitful path of learning and self discovery. Whether you are a well practiced yogi looking to leave your profession and step into the world of yoga teaching or already a yoga teacher and looking to deepen your knowledge, the Yogaroom Barcelona’s Vinyasa Teacher Training course might be just the ticket for you.

Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga

The course is designed to prepare you to teach Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga.
Hatha-Vinyasa yoga combines conscious breathing, fluidity and stillness, physical and energetic alignment, and focused mind.

What will you learn in the course?

The course, accredited by the Yoga Alliance, provides practical and interactive training and guidance towards deepening your understanding of the bases of modern yoga and developing the necessary abilities to teach yoga professionally. You will acquire knowledge and wisdon to be able to guide your students safely, with well-designed and structured classes. Classes encompass the essentials of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.

The course will also guide you on how to find your own style and voice, in order to become an authentic yoga teacher, as well as teaching the responsibilities of being a teacher. You will be required to record a personal diary of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation practice as a means of self-reflection and self-analysis. As such this is a journey of both external and internal focused learning!

You will be guided on how to live an authentic yogic lifestyle, including how to apply the study of yogic texts, such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, in your life and your classes. All this and much more!

The course takes place across 11 weekends from October 2015 until March 2016. For specific dates and how to sign up, see the website.
