The oldest theatre in Barcelona and one of the oldest ones in Spain, Teatre Principal de Barcelona was founded in 1603 with the name “Teatre de la Santa Creu”. Years later, the theatre was renovated by architects German and Salvador Llobet, reopening as Teatre Principal de Barcelona.
