Restaurants with live music in Barcelona

Barcelona is a paradise to foodies and all those who appreciate to go out for a good meal. The city is a melting pot of cultures, with people living here coming from all the way around the world. This means that there is excellent local and foreign food to try in a number of fantastic establishments.

If you live in Barcelona or have been to the city a couple of times, you may already have your favorites, but if you are looking to spend a special evening we suggest you try a restaurant with live music. Don’t know any? Well, then you have come to the right place!

Bollywood

They say it on their website and they are certainly right: Indian food is one of the most popular worldwide, offering exotic flavors and spices that make their dishes unmistakable. If you not only appreciate Indian food but also their colorful and rich culture, then head on to Bollywood, restaurant that serves traditional Indian food prepared by native Indian cooks and which also hosts show nights with live Bollywood music and dancing every Friday and Saturday at 9:30 pm.

Working hours: Every day of the week from 12 pm to 12 am.

The Philharmonic

Founded in 1998, The Philharmonic opened its doors as a bar/restaurant and music hall, offering an ambiance that transports visitors to the traditional British pubs. This is a great place to have an authentic British meal, sampling dishes such as steak pie or the famous fish and chips. Every Friday and Saturday, The Philarmonic offers visitors a live music show, covering styles like jazz, blues, folk, and rock and roll. Many artists have graced the stage at this gem of a venue, including the pianist Bill Charlap, the saxophonist Perico Sambeat, and singer Anna Luna. Shows start at 10:30 pm and people can come simply for the music, paying the ticket price, which comes with a free drink, or have dinner while watching the show, in which case it is necessary to book a table beforehand.

Working hours: From Sunday to Thursday from 12 pm to 2:30 am, remaining open for an extra half hour on Fridays and Saturdays.

Little Italy

Little Italy is a restaurant that serves tasty Mediterranean food, such as grilled turbot with fennel puree and ginger, and lemon-marinated ox carpaccio with arugula, parmesan cheese and mushrooms; as well as a variety of cocktails, like the Cosmopolitini,  Caipirinha, Gin & Tonic, Bloody Mary and more. At Little Italy, you can watch live jazz shows a number of days a week. Check their website to learn the dates of the upcoming shows and to know who is going to perform at the venue in the next few weeks. Regardless of the night, shows usually start at 9 pm.

Working hours: Every day of the week from 1 pm to 4 pm, then from 8 pm to 12 am.

Milano

Milano is a restaurant and cocktail bar that offers live music every single day of the year. Here you can listen to jazz, swing, soul, r&b, funk, Cuban music, and New Orleans jazz. But don’t go to Milano just for the music because they also offer great meals, with dishes such as steak tartar, lobster rice, and some local favorites such as pimientos padrón and jamón de Salamanca. Much like Little Italy, they have a wide variety of cocktails on offer, so you will have plenty to choose from to sip while you enjoy the music.

Working hours: From Tuesday to Friday from 12 pm to 3 am, Saturdays from 12 pm to 2:30 am, Sundays from 6 pm to 2:30 am, and Mondays from 6 pm to 3 am.
