Have you ever played mini golf? A variation of golf that focuses exclusively on the putting aspect of the game, this popularity of this activity is in great part due to its accessibility. It can easily be played by people of all ages and genders since it doesn’t require any specific knowledge and isn’t physically demanding.

The rules of mini golf are similar to those of its parent sport. The only difference is that mini golf courses feature various obstacles such as mini bridges, lakes, buildings, statues and barricades in order to make the game more fun and entertaining. Of course, because of the difference in scale, the techniques used by mini golf players are different from those applied by golfers – overall, though, the goal is still to put a ball in a hole.

Although there currently isn’t anywhere where you can play mini golf near the centre of Barcelona, you’ll find really good courses in its surrounding municipalities – in fact, we already found them for you! Here they are:

Bowling Golf

Open for over 25 years, this entertainment centre located in Calella offers a complete package to those looking for a good time. Featuring an 18-hole mini golf course, a state-of-the-art American-style bowling room, a game room (pool, foosball, air hockey) and a great restaurant, it’s the perfect destination for a memorable family weekend.

The prices for playing mini golf are quite accessible, with adults paying 3,70€ and children under 12 paying only 3,20€. When it comes to birthday celebrations, Bowling Golf gives you plenty of bang for your buck – their party package costs only 8,50€ per person, which includes bowling, mini golf, a meal and discount vouchers for future game sessions.

Minigolf Vinyet

Another great choice for playing this fun game in the province of Barcelona is Minigolf Vinyet. Recently opened again after extensive renovations, it features high-quality facilities that include trampolines, kart racing circuits, ping pong tables and an 18-hole mini golf course. With a very friendly and attentive staff, it’s the perfect stage for special events such as children’s birthday parties – not only because it offers a wide range of fun activities, but also because their catering is pretty excellent.

Karting Minilandia

Located in Viladecans, Minilandia offers kart racing, mini golf and many other fun activities. Founded by Don Jaime Ampurdanés Juan, a 7-time national kart racing champion, it features a recently renovated, top-quality 18-hole mini golf course.
