Vida Festival (Vilanova i La Geltrú International Festival) promises to bring more life (“vida” in spanish) to your summer with its 2019 edition. Vida Festival will feature a carefully selected line-up, with the organizers greatly valuing the “authenticity of each artist’s proposal” – after all, it’s a festival about life. It looks for artists (not only in music but also in other featured arts, such as illustration or handcrafts) whose work is true to life. You won’t find any artificial made-for-radio acts in here. It’s an extensive line-up with a lot of great bands, so you should check it out in full. These are just some of the headliners that we highly recommend you don’t miss: July 4: Hot Chip, José González, Sleaford Mods, Fat White Family, The 2 Bears, Julia Jacklin and Invisible Harvey. July 5: Beirut, Sharon van Etten, Kevin Morby, Todd Terje, Temples, Superchunk, Marlon Williams and Westerman. July 6: Madness, The Charlatans, Polo & Pan, Gus Dapperton, Nacho Vegas, Meute, Stella Donnely and Molly Burch.

Vida Festival 2019 is the sixth time the festival takes place, and its location is La Masia d’en Cabanyes in Vilanova i La Geltrú. It’s very easy to get to the venue by train, bus or car, so don’t worry about that – the festival’s official website has a guide with all you need to know in order to get there from Barcelona or elsewhere in the world. New in the 2019 edition of the festival, is Vida Camp, which is located at Vilanova Park Camping. You will have the comfort of all the camping facilities, a connection to the festival by Vida Bus and the price is unbelievable. There will surely be a special atmoshpere at the camping during those festival days. The concerts will take place in several different stages around the venue – all of them inspiring, all of them surrounded by nature. Listen to great music, check out emerging designers and craftsmen in the Vida Market and have a tasty bite in the picnic area. Take a break from the busy world and enjoy life among the trees!
