Written by Ashley B

Catch some sun rays and sweet breezes in Barcelona’s charming and hidden terrace restaurants. Enjoy some tea, sangria, or coffee. Cool down and reenergize before continuing your Barcelona adventure.

This is SHBarcelona’s list of the best local terrace restaurants.

Laie Restaurant

The Laie is an amazing bookstore near the Urquinaona area which has a hidden terrace in the back. Walk through the overflowing rows of bookshelves while you make your way back to the hidden terrace restaurant. Laie restaurant is an ideal place to have lunch or drinks with friends and families. They offer breakfast and lunch menus, as well as coffee, and tea. They have a beautiful outdoor area which is perfect for a quick bite before the afternoon heat comes in. They are open Monday to Saturday.

Is there anything better than listening to poetry, on a cool night with a glass of wine in your hand, or enjoying light music with a great group of friends and locals under a star filled night in Barcelona. Make your way into this hidden bar in the neighborhood el Born. Arrive early because I will guarantee every seat will be taken. Antic Theatre offers great drink prices and light tapas.
