You can spend time exploring the city’s historic centre that dates back to a time before even the Roman’s had made it their home. Spend your time wandering through a maze of tiny streets that take you to wonderful plazas and squares. Allow you the opportunity to get a real feel for the city and all that it has to offer.

If you want to get something a little more authentic for lunch then head to La Boqueria. This is the city’s famous central food market and located in an area known as Barri Gotic. Of all the places where you can grab lunch this is one of the best.

It allows you to explore more of the history of the food and delicacies offered not only in the city but in this part of Spain as a whole.

Imagine being able to go home and create some dishes for your friends that they have never had the opportunity to try before.
Although this and other beaches is one of the reasons why you should visit Barcelona in your 30’s. There is plenty of great things to do and see in the evenings. Along with the various night clubs you may want to take in a show or two, as the theatre scene has begun to flourish once again.
