El Besòs i el Maresme is one of the ten neighborhoods that form the district of Sant Martí. El Besòs i Maresme is located between Santa Adrià de Besòs and Diagonal Mar i el Front Marítim del Poblenou.This neighborhood was built between the 50s and the 60s, to house the massive migration that came from the south of Spain.

The main revitalization the El Besòs i el Maresme neighborhood went through happened in 2004 with the construction of Parc del Fòrum, on the border of Santa Adrià de Besòs.

Bosc Urbá

Barcelona Bosc Urbá is an urban adventure park located at plaza del Forum, where visitors can spend the day practicing a variety of activities. Zip wires, nets, creepers, suspension bridges, trunks on platforms are some of the more than fifty activities offered by the adventure park. Bosc Urbá has prepared three circuits with various levels of difficulty for people of different age ranges and with different levels of experience.

Parc del Fòrum

The 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures was a five-month event that took place at the Centre de Convenciones Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) and surrounding venues. The public space created for this convention is today known as Parc del Fòrum. This park is today an exercise area used by many skaters, runners and cyclists, and one of the main locations in the city for large events like Dia de Brasil, Primavera Sound Festival, Catalonia April Fair, Summercase Festival, and the most popular concerts of La Mercè.

Museu Blau de les Ciències Naturals

Barcelona Museu Blau de les Ciències Naturals (The Blue Museum of Natural Sciences) occupies today the old Forum Building, designed by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, built for the 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures. The triangular-shaped, two-story building is the home of more than three million pieces, a collection that was built over a period of more than one century.

Museu Blau de les Ciències Naturals has a permanent exhibit called “Planet Life”, which includes a walk through the evolution of Earth and an amazing display of original pieces and replicas from the animal, vegetal, mineral and fungi kingdom. The museum also receives temporary exhibits and organizes a series of activities for adults and children.
