Cim d’Àligues

Cim d’Àligues is a bird of prey center located fifty minutes away from the center of Barcelona. The center’s objective is to inform the public about different species of birds, teaching them about each animal’s characteristics and peculiarities. Cim d’Àguiles has developed various educational programs for children that visit with schools, teaching the students not only about the birds of prey but also about ecosystems.

If you plan to visit Cim d’Àligues, try to organize your day in order to be at the center around 1 pm or 5 pm, to watch a live bird of prey flight session.

Cim d’Àligues is located at Paratge del Pi Solitari, in Sant Feliu de Codines.

Foradada waterfall

Those who love exploring natural landscapes will be thrilled to discover one of the most beautiful secrets in Catalonia: the Foradada waterfall. This hidden treasure consists of a small waterfall that ends in a rocky grotto, a place where you can stop for a peaceful swim.

The Foradada waterfall is located in Cantonigròs, an hour and a half from Barcelona.

Aqualeon

An hour and fifteen minutes from the center of Barcelona you can find the Aqualeon Water Park. This family-friendly park has a variety of water-based attractions where children, young people and adults can have fun.

Aqualeon is located at Finca Les Basses in Albinyana, Tarragona.

Vall de Núria

About two hours away from Barcelona, at the bottom of the Pyrenees, there is a beautiful valley called Vall de Núria. This area is considered a valuable natural heritage by its inhabitants and surrounding regions, which is why they make it a top priority to conserve and improve the valley’s environment. Vall de Núria offers not only stunning views but also a series of activities. There is canoeing or boating in the lake; a minigolf course with 10 holes of different difficulties; archery lessons combined with woodland tours; trekking excursions for beginners and experienced trekkers; 45-minute guided tours to the most unique places in the Valley; horse riding tours; orienteering workshops and circuits; a farm where visitors can learn about the animals; and a virtual race.

Vall de Núria is a great place to visit during the winter since it is a famous ski resort with 10 alpine ski lanes and a special slope for sleighs, totaling 7 kilometers. The resort is equipped with 73 snow cannons, one chair lift, two platter lifts and one gondola lift.
