  • Dear M,

Without a taxi driving license can I buy a taxi ?
    Thanks
    Farhad hemat

    • Hi Farhad, yes you can.

The way it works is that taxis can be owned by individuals or by companies, up to a maximum of 50 taxi licenses. The credential to drive a taxi is something separate, with the credential you don’t have to own a taxi but you can still drive one. So, when talking about the taxi license we are referring to the vehicle and with the credential referring to the additional license that allows you drive a taxi. Of course you are better off with both, that allows you to drive your own taxi.
