Of all the ways to show how much you loved your time in this city then investing in some of the city’s soccer team gear is a great idea. If you don’t want to spend a fortune on one of the team’s blue and scarlet striped tops, with your name printed on the back, of course, go for a Barça scarf (bufanda) instead.
This is certainly an item to make a statement with much as the residents of this region of Spain feel. This simple red and yellow flag (bandera) is a symbol of the people of Catalonia of the region being their own country.

We actually know them as espadrilles and are the footwear of choice throughout the summer months. Along with them coming in a variety of different colours, you’ll find that they come with a really attractive price tag. Normally a good pair of such shoes will only set you back around €10.
If you still have room available and your allowance for duty-free hasn’t been taken up yet then pop a couple of bottles of cava into your luggage. This often tastes just as good as some of the more expensive French champagnes available.

For those who have a sweet tooth then including some of this delish tasting sweet in your bag is a good idea. For those who like something a little creamy we suggest you buy some of the turrón de Xixona, whilst those who want theirs to have a little more bite go for the turrón duro.
