Sitges: This is a coastal town in the region of Garraf in the province of Barcelona. Sitges is about 40 km from Barcelona. You might want to know, just out of curiosity, that the prestigious New York Times indicated that Sitges has the best urban beach in Europe. The beach is called San Sebastian, and it is being compared to Saint Tropez, Ibiza, Capri and the island of Hvar in Croatia. Sitges is also the third municipality with the most expensive real estate prices in Europe. Besides this, the first Pachá nightclub in the world was established in Sitges.

Vic: Only 90 km from the Catalan capital you will find Vic, a town in the Osona region, belonging to the province of Barcelona. It has the most interesting medieval buildings in Catalonia. The city is also famous for its sausages. Among them you can try the salchichón de Vic, but the best known sausage is fuet, a delicacy that is usually eaten with a good slice of pan con tomate.
