Today, the neighborhood of Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera is one of the hippest and most fashionable neighborhoods in Barcelona, famously known as “El Born”, despite El Born being only a specific area inside the neighborhood, surrounding the Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.
