Pharmacies in Barcelona

After spending some time in Spain, you’ll soon see that the locals really value their time off work. Most businesses take a long siesta break between 2pm and 5pm every day and on Sundays, many don’t open at all. But, thankfully this doesn’t extend to the healthcare sector. Pharmacies are in abundance in every town and city, with many of them being open 7 days a week. You can’t buy most medicines in supermarkets in Spain, like you can in many other countries, so the pharmacies are a lifeline for many people experiencing illness.
