La Pedrera

One of Antoni Gaudí’s most famous monuments, La Pedrera was built between 1906 and 1910 in the district of Eixample. It is a beautiful work of Catalan modernism, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.

La Pedrera has a restaurant called El Cafè de la Pedrera. It is located on the mezzanine, a space with large windows that fill it with natural light, where visitors can enjoy fresh and modern food, as well as Gaudí’s architectonic genius.

CaixaForum Barcelona

Founded in 2002 in a former factory, CaixaForum Barcelona is a cultural center that offers a varied cultural, artistic and educational programming.

CaixaForum Barcelona has its own café/restaurant called Vilaplana where visitors can choose to stop for a meal or a quick snack. Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC)

Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya is the most important museum of Catalan visual art in Barcelona. It was founded in 1934, occupying Palau Nacional, a building partly inspired by St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City in Rome.

Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya has a restaurant called Òleum, located in the old Throne Room of the Palau, offering stunning views of Barcelona, which are reflected by a number of mirrors on the ceiling. Òleum serves high-quality Mediterranean cuisine.

Museu d’Història de Catalunya

Created in 1996 by Generalitat de Catalunya, Museu d’Història de Catalunya is a space dedicated to telling the story of Catalunya through a collection of documents, objects and visual displays.

Museu d’Història de Catalunya’s restaurant serves traditional Mediterranean restaurant, offering also a variety of cocktails. 1881 per SAGRADI is located in the museum’s rooftop, with a large terrace from which visitors can appreciate great views of Barcelona.

Museo Marítimo de Barcelona

Located in the building of Drassanes Reials de Barcelona, Museo Marítimo de Barcelona is a museum that focuses on the subject of shipbuilding from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century.

The museum has restaurant/café managed by Proyecto Norai, which aims to revitalize Raval’s social status and economy by hiring locals to work with them. The restaurant serves delicious, well-prepared maritime food, and has a combination of pleasant spaces: the inside is filled with natural light due to the restaurant’s large windows, while the outside is something like an urban oasis.
