El Rey da la Magia

With more than a century of existence, El Rey de la Magia is one of the oldest magic museum/shops in the world. It is divided into three different spaces: a store, a museum and a theatre with regular magic shows.

The shop is located at C/Princesa 11, where you can find games, books, and equipment related to the practice of magic.

The museum can be found in C/Jonquers 15, just a couple of steps away from the store. There, visitors can learn more about the history and evolution of magic in Barcelona and Spain by observing objects such as posters, photos, and costumes, some of which were used over two centuries ago.

El Rey de la Magia‘s theatre receives a series of acts by artists like Amilkar, Magnolo, and Alis Kim & Luna, with prices that range from 10€ to 20€.

El Rey de la Magia also offers classes for adults and children.

To visit the shop the closest metro stops is Jaume I (yellow line – L4). To visit the theatre/museum, exit at Urquinaona instead.
