There are plenty of venues in the city that have nights dedicated to this style of music, like L’Atlantida Barcelona, BeCool, Moog Club, Insert and Club4, and even events such as Piknic Electronik and Brunch Electronik. But if you are a music festival buff, you won’t want to miss this year’s edition of DGTL.

Originally created in Amsterdam, DGTL has become world renowned for its innovative character, combining an exciting group of electronic music artists (both established names and emerging talent), art and a commendable sustainability program. Innovative stage designs, raw industrial settings, international art installations, and sustainable innovation are guaranteed in each edition of the festival.
DGTL aims to become as sustainable as possible. Each year the festival chooses a theme and does their best to break boundaries and to provide information about revolutionary alternatives to our current ways, raising awareness of our ecological footprint.
Amsterdam’s 2014 edition of DGTL focused on plastic waste, which was collected and recycled to create new trash bins. The following edition focused on renewable energies, displaying all sorts of devices powered by wind, solar and even human energy. In Barcelona, DGTL organized a beach clean-up during the Sónar Festival in 2015.

DGTL gives great importance to cultural and artistic projects, which is why they curate a large variety of conceptual art performances and installations created to mesmerize the visitors. Whenever possible, they work with local artists to create the pieces that will be featured in the festival.

There is a lot of talent taking the stage at this yer’s DGTL edition in Barcelona.
On Friday, ticket-holders will have the opportunity to watch shows by Ame, Adeline, Mike Servito, Ryan Elliot, Regal, Mind Against, Jackmaster B2B Jasper James, Fairmont, Kölsch B2B Michael Mayer, Jennifer Cardini, B. Traits, DVS1, Daniel Baughman, Adriatique, Andre Buljat, Tom Trago, Satori, Solomun, and Tale of Us.
On Saturday there will be shows by Audiolux, Daniel Avery, Coyu, Amelie Lens, Eats Everything, Davis, Derrick May, Discos Paradiso Club, The Drifter, Triad, Tornado Wallace, HD Substance, Jeff Mills, Lorenzo Bartoletti, Joy Orbison, Staffi B2B Prosumer, Recondite, Prunk, Prins Thomas, Mall Graab, Marvin & Guy, Paco Osuna, and Pedro Vian.

2-Day Pass – August 11 + 12 – 60€ p 4,50€ booking fee
2-Day Pass + Sunday Event – August 11 + 12 + 13 – 74€ + 4,50€ booking fee
Passe-Partout – August 11 + 12 + 13 – 99€ + 5,50€ booking fee
Friday – August 11 – 35€ + 3,25€ booking fee
Afterhour Friday – 13€ + 1,50€ booking fee
Saturday – Augst 12 – 35€ + 3,25€ booking fee
Afterhours Saturday – 13€ + 1,50€ booking fee
Sunday (DGTL at Brunch in the park) – 22€ + 1,50€ booking fee

DGTL will take place at Parc del Fòrum, which is located at Muelle de la Marina Seca, C/ De la Pau, 12 in the district of Sant Martí.

If you like to enjoy a nice refreshing beer or any other drink while you enjoy the music concerts, consider using public transportation to get to the venue and go back home at the end of the night. The city of Barcelona is very well connected and you will be able to get home in a heartbeat without any inconveniences.
If you are taking the metro, use the yellow line (L4) and exit at El Maresme – Fòrum in the direction of Rambla Prim. The metro runs from 5 am to 2 am on Fridays, offering continuous service on Saturdays.
You can also take the Tramvía stopping at Fòrum. The tramvía works from 5 am to 2 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Buses number 7, 36, 143, H14, H16 and B23, will also take you to the event. They run between 6.30 am and 11:15 pm. Night buses N6 and N7 run from 11 pm to 6 am.
