Where to find vintage comics in Barcelona

Comic mania has officially taken over Barcelona. You can now find a host of fantastic comic stores to indulge your passion whatever your tastes may be from action to sci-fi and anime. Here are our picks of the best stores in the city where you can find vintage comics.

Continuarà Comic

Continuarà was founded by a comic book lover in 1980 and is one of the best stores in the city. It has two floors packed full of collectibles, from comics, action figures, and stickers, to trade cards and books. The store has also won the prestigious prize for Best Comic Bookshop at Barcelona’s International Comic Convention.

Norma Comics

Norma Comics is another fantastic shop that opened in the 1980s and is home to a vast collection of comics for every interest and taste. The lower floor is dedicated to Marvel superheroes and current favorites, including Harry Potter. The upper level houses mostly Japanese manga and anime. If you’re a newbie and you don’t know what to look for then fear not, Norma Comics have their own in-house experts on hand in the store to help advise you.

Cosmic Comics

Cosmic Comics is one of the greats when it comes to vintage comic book stores in Barcelona. The shop has an extensive selection of Marvel and DC memorabilia as well as various comics from around the world. Make sure you have enough time to browse and flick through the comics on display as it is known to be one of the very best collections in the city. It also has a great selection of toys alongside its comic offering.

Tot Comics

Tot Comics, whose name translates as ‘All Comics‘ will not disappoint comic book fans. They carry an incredibly vast array of products and merchandise which means you can find absolutely anything your heart desires in this store, from complete collections and action figures to special editions and collector’s items.

Antifaz Comics

Antifaz Comics is one of the oldest and most traditional comic shops in Barcelona with a fantastic selection across all genres and a variety of international comics. As well as the usual offering you would expect, the shop also features the work of some local authors and artists. The staff is very friendly and helpful so if you have a question just ask!

Vértice Comics

This store specializes in comics from the United States but it also offers a wide array of Spanish comics. For ease, Vértice also has a great online offering, which you can browse from the comfort of your own home.
