Brunch has only recently been discovered in Barcelona, and Milk was one of the first to introduce the concept. It adapted several brunch dishes to what the Catalan people and residents of Barcelona really liked.

After only a short period of time, Milk has managed to become a foodie’s top pick for brunch, with high-quality products and plates that are beautifully decorated. Milk has definitely perfected the art of serving brunch dishes.

And for this reason, you cannot just go for brunch on the weekends here, no, at Milk Barcelona you can have it 7 (!!) days a week, between the hours of 9:00 and 16:30. Every moment you decide to eat here will become your favourite time of day.

Milk is in Gótico at Carrer d’en Gignàs, 21. Be prepared, however, to wait in line for quite some time, because its popularity and not taking reservations have caused long queues on the sidewalk. Nevertheless, any amount of time you have to wait here is absolutely worth it!

This cafeteria is located in the heart of the Catalan capital, more specifically at Plaça Urquinaona, 4, in the district of Ciutat Vella.

This place changed directions a little over a year ago, with the intention of introducing new culinary dishes from Northern Europe and England.

It started over 4 years ago, and its mission was to offer good quality food that was only made with 100% pure love. After making some changes, owners decided on a new name: Citizen Café. This is truly a great place for a lovely brunch.

Citizen Café has now become many people’s favourite place in the Catalan capital when it comes to brunch and coffee. There is so much deliciousness to choose from on the menu, that it fits perfectly with the concept of brunch.

The Benedict

The Benedict is one of those spots in Barcelona that offers a more British and orthodox brunch, and you can find it in Barcelona’s neighbourhood of Gótico.

The Benedict is a very charming and cosy place, with a nice vintage interior. At The Benedict you can taste over 30 different dishes, but – as the name may have given away – the Eggs Benedict are to die for.

If you would like to discover everything (but not all at once) that The Benedict has to offer, be sure to visit Carrer Gignàs, 23 in Barcelona.
