Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch de Barcelona

Barcelona’s Olympic Museum was founded in 2007 next to Montjuïc’s Olympic facilities. The museum is an interactive space that offers a global perspective about every style of sport. Through its sensory-appealing exhibits, the museum aims to educate and promote the world of sports.

Estado Olímpic Lluis Companys

Barcelona’s Olympic Stadium was originally created for the 1929 International Exposition, being later renovated for the 1992 Summer Olympics. Located in the Anella Olímpica (Olympic Ring), the stadium has the capacity to receive 54,000 spectators. Estado Olímpic Lluis Companys has been the stage for such sporting events like II Mediterranean Games, in 1955, the final between Real Madrid and Real Zaragoza in 2004’s Copa del Rey, the 20^th European Athletics Championships in 2010, and the Heineken Cup match between Perpignan and Toulon in 2011.

The stadium has also received concerts from some of the most famous artists in the world, like Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and U2.

Barcelona’s Olympic Stadium is located at Passeig Olimpic, 15-17.

Camp Nou

Camp Nou is Barcelona’s most famous football stadium, declared the home of Futbol Club Barcelona since 1957. It is the largest stadium in Europe by capacity, and the second largest association football stadium in the world. This famous stadium has been the host for events such as the 1982 FIFA World Cup semi-final match, two UEFA Championship League finals and the football competition at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
