Who among us hasn’t already heard about a miraculous little fruit by the name of açaí

Consuming this power-berry started becoming trendy a couple of years ago when the market decided to start making profits from the little fruit’s amazing benefits.

 

Native to Brazil and Trinidad, the açaí berry is said to help improve the immune system, boost energy and even improve mental function. 

Açaí is usually served mixed with honey and guaraná and with fruits like banana and strawberries, accompanied by some granola.

FitBar

This pint-sized venue is one of the newest additions to the local açaí scene. Located in the neighborhood of BarcelonetaFitBar serves a delicious variety of juices, ice cream, tapioca sandwiches, and other delicious Brazilian treats.

They serve a great açaí bowl that can replace a meal for the moderate price of 5€. They are open every day of the week from 10 am to 6 pm.

Trópico

Trópico is a beautifully decorated restaurant in the neighborhood of Raval, which serves food from a variety of countries.

They are known for their brunches and their delicious smoothies, which usually come decorated with flowers and even little balls of pollen.

Casa do Açaí was one of the pioneers in açaí distribution in Barcelona. You can buy açaí ice cream directly from their website, which comes in three different sizes: 120g, 900g, and 3,6 kg.

At their location in Eixample, they serve expertly prepared açaí bowls that can be enjoyed from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.
