On top of working as a chef de cuisine at the Michelin-starred\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.abacbarcelona.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">ABaC Restaurant &amp; Hotel<\/a> in Barcelona, he also owns\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/somiatruites.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Restaurant Somiatruites<\/a>\u00a0in nearby Igualada that he opened at the age of twenty-five. He&#8217;s one of the youngest Catalan <strong>entrepreneurs<\/strong> to reach success on such a large scale.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"John-Casablancas\"><\/span>John Casablancas<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Born in Manhattan to Catalan parents who fled Spain during the Spanish Civil War, <strong>John Casablancas\u00a0<\/strong>founded Elite Model Management in Paris in 1972. He&#8217;s also credited with\u00a0inventing the modern concept of the supermodel in popular culture today. During Casablancas&#8217;s management of the agency, it earned almost $100 million annually, proving to be a great success.
