This is the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/museuciencies.cat\/en\/science\/scientific-departments\/botanical-garden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><b>Botanical Garden<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a beautiful area with a multitude of plant species that all unite in one spectacular place; in <\/span><b>Montjuic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in front of the port of Barcelona and the <\/span><b>Ronda Litoral. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a beautiful spot, but rarely visited by tourists who come to the city mostly for the central zones and highly-visited monuments. While it\u2019s true that the summer landscape is more dry and arid than in other seasons due to the rigorous heat of summer, it\u2019s still an option for a beautiful visit close to emblematic sites of the revered <\/span><b>1992 Olympics <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">such as the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/olympic-stadium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Montjuic Stadium<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/palau-sant-jordi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Sant Jordi Palace<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, all with excellent views of the city and the sea. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another tranquil and fairly unknown place to visit is another park situated in Barcelona\u2019s Zona Alta. <\/span><span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.barcelona.cat\/en\/que-hacer-en-bcn\/parques-y-jardines\/parque-de-la-creueta-del-coll_92086020872.html\"><b>Parque de la Creueta del Coll<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a forested-zone-turned-park with a playground, bar, game area, outdoor workout area, picnic area, and a lake that is used as a swimming pool in the summer, where a spectacular sculpture by <\/span><b>Eduardo Chillida<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> hangs. This is a quiet park that is a bit busier in the summer due to the pool, which is shallow and good place for children to swim. Residents of the neighborhoods of <\/span><b>El Coll, Vallcarca and La Taxonera, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">where the park is located, stroll through this oasis or have tapas in the bar under the pergola that flourishes in the spring. This project, built by the acclaimed architect <\/span><b>Norman Foster<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and whose works finished in 1992, was imagined as the telecommunications headquarters of Barcelona, before being scattered around different areas in the city. Without a doubt, la <\/span><b>Torre de Collserola <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has become an iconic part of the city\u2019s skyline. Situated on Mount <\/span><b>Tibidabo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this site allows you to enjoy clear views of the city and its nearby areas. There generally aren\u2019t many people there, and in August there are far less. Close to the tower you will find the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.com\/blog\/en\/tibidabo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Parque de Atracciones del Tibidabo<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a great place to complete your visit if you have kids, although it tends to be more crowded. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Have you visited any of these places?
